The Crawford County Historical Society would like to encourage the community to bring a blanket or lawn chair and join them at the Baldwin-Reynolds House Museum on Friday, October 15th (Rain Date-October 16th) for the movie that changed the horror genre forever – Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho!
This is a free community event, sponsored by the Crawford County Convention and Visitors Bureau, however donations are appreciated! We will have a donation jar on-site or donations can be made at https://bit.ly/CrawfordHistoricalDonate Attendees are encouraged to bring their own beverages and snacks (as well as blankets in case of cooler temperatures).
One of the most shocking films of all time, Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho changed the thriller genre forever. Alfred Hitchcock, the Master of Suspense is credited for Psycho – a chilling journey of an unsuspecting victim (Janet Leigh) who visits the Bates Motel and falls prey to one of cinema’s most notorious psychopaths – Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins).
Featuring one of the most iconic scenes in film history – the famous “shower scene”, Psycho has cemented its place in the history of American pop culture. The Crawford County Historical Society, founded in 1880, preserves the history of our region through events, programs, and donations from the community.
